The future centre (6.33 million dirhams), which comes as a new illustration of the proximity policy advocated by the Sovereign, will reinforce a series of social actions launched under INDH in the Grand Casablanca region to promote the human element and improve the local population's living conditions.

The centre will contribute to human development of targeted persons through cultural, educational and social activities meant to promote youth empowerment and fight against juvenile delinquency and school dropout.

The Bouskoura socio-cultural centre, which will be built on an area of 1,300 m2 within 18 months, will consist of a multipurpose room, an exhibition hall, a library, a reading room, a multimedia space, workshops for cultural, educational and artistic activities and a children's space, an outdoor theater as well as shops and a cafeteria.

The project, a partnership between INDH, the Commune of Bouskoura and the group Palmeraie Development, confirms HM the King’s particular attention to INDH projects.

It reinforces the 2015-2020 Great Casablanca Region Development Plan, launched on September 26 by the Sovereign, with the prime goal of improving living conditions of the Casablanca population with a special attention to vulnerable social categories and people with special needs in complementarity with INDH programmes.
